Another priest has been attacked..
Reverend Shaji F. Varghese, 42, Administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Sinton, Texas, was stabbed several times around 8:00 a.m. Friday morning. The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning, right after the priest finished serving mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Rev. Varghese was kicked and beaten and stabbed several times after the celebration of Mass at the Parish in Sinton. He is now at Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi being evaluated and prepared for surgery. As of 11:00 a.m. this morning, Father Varghese remains unconscious. He is 42 years of age and was appointed Administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Sinton on October 15, 2007. - News source.

Remember to pray for our priests. This is the second such attack upon a priest I have heard about in a month. It makes no difference if the attacker is mentally ill or not, they seem to be motivated by hatred for the faith. In fact I would not be at all surprised if they are set off by such movies as Angels and Demons, or some other type of anti-Catholic propaganda. I'm serious.
