One of the principals involved in undermining the Catholic faith in the United States, Archbishop Weakland, formerly of Milwaukee, is writing his memoirs. Hold onto your seats - he reveals that he is gay - Light the candles! Get the ice out! Roll the rug up! He's gay! As if we didn't know that. Hopefully any proceeds he receives from his book and speaking engagements will be used to pay back the archdiocese for the money it took to silence one of his boy-toys. (People in Milwaukee - you should consider making him do that.)

Weakland stepped down quickly after Paul Marcoux, a former Marquette University theology student, revealed in May 2002 that he was paid $450,000 to settle a sexual assault claim he made against the archbishop more than two decades earlier. The money came from the archdiocese. - Source
